Tim,
If you are getting electricity to everything but the plugs then the problem
is the coil or the main lead to the distributor..... Also a weak spot could
be the ignition switch. You sure you have the rotor on inside the
distributor :-) What about the leads....are they going to the correct part
of the distributor?
Best way to solve your dilemma is to start with a basic diagnostic. Start
with the battery and then move along the various paths till you isolate
where the break in the circuit is.
When I was rebuilding my 70 Ambo any electrical problem I had was related to
a faulty ground. In fact on my recent run the to Adirondak Rally my bike
quit dead all of a sudden. With a volt meter I traced the problem to a
faulty main ground.
Good luck and be sure to let us know what you learn.
Regards...Ian

but
I won't bore you with the details of bloody knuckles and foul language,
after many long hours of putting together my Eldo, I go to start it andhave
no spark.I
Suggestions? All connections and wires are good, power to the coil, etc.
even switched out the coil with another and had nothing. Any way to test
the coils?
Thanks,
Tim
