Charlie,
So it's you that wants to lighten your whole bike because of your personal
frame!? Just drink some of that muscle building beer, Hey Ian, tell Charlie
where he can get some of that Swartzneger beer! Bob

Hi Tom, Chris and Ian,
I am considering having the flywheel mass reduced more for overall weight
savings than for performance gains. I'm trying to get this thing as light
possible so it will be manageable for me (5'6", 140 lbs.) in theenvironment
where it will be used. I wasn't planning to have it made as light as awas
Daytona or something like that, just a couple of pounds off. Even if it
pared down to 14 lbs. (which Guzziology says a T3 flywheel/ring gear combocan't
weighs) it would help me reach my goal without stressing driveline
components too much. Perhaps I should just use a T3 flywheel! Anywho, it's
just a thought at this time - I'll be using the stock Ambo frame - you
build too light of a bike with a piece that heavy to start! :-) Cheers, when

Subject: Re: Flywheel lighteningI agree with what Tom said, and have this to add...if you're goingdo it, but if you want to have a streetable ride, don't do it. The
ofcanbalancedthat flywheel is also what lets the bike ride smoothly at lower engine
speeds. If you want a smooth, quick-revving bike, get the engineand blueprinted. IMHO that is the best thing (besides headwork) that
beflywheeldone to a motor to make it more fun AND long lasting. Balance thetoo.
My $.02. Hope this helps.
