Hi Tom,
These are a new item for EPCO, there's no price listed on their website
yet. They should be very close in price to the Ambassador/Eldorado
mufflers they already offer (the civilian style "torpedo" shaped ones)
which are $449 a pair. Not cheap, but I feel they are worth it in the
long term. No chrome to rust or peel and they'll likely never rot out.
Also no packing to blow out. I like to think of it this way - two sets
of chromed steel mufflers (lasting about 10 years a set) @ $200 = $400
for 20 years use. One set of these should easily last 20 years and will
stay nicer looking over that period. They fit like the originals and
have a crossover, something most other aftermarket mufflers lack. This
is all just my humble opinion though (YMMV).

Epco also has stainless steel axles and headlight rings. Check the
website at:http://www.epcostainless.com/
Cheers,

Charlie

Hi All,
I received the first set of stainless steel LAPD style
("slashbacks")
mufflers from Tom Epperson today. They're gorgeous! Robustly
constructed
and beautifully polished, they'll be the perfect finish to
my Ambo
project. Unlike the originals, there's no ugly seam on the
top and
bottom - you can barely tell where they were welded. EPCO
has even
replicated the original outlet design. I can't wait to hear
how they
sound out on the road! I'll get some pictures this week and
post some
shots a.s.a.p. Cheers,

Charlie
