Hi Bruce and all,
I installed a set of "velocity stacks" on a customers bike with K&Ns ( the
oval-shaped, angled inlet style) recently. To clean and oil them I just
the clamp on the left filter and turned it 180 degrees on the velocitystack. The
"top" (part that says "K&N" on these) will be towards the rear of the bikenow
instead of toward the other filter. You'll have to squeeze it past theother
filter and it's easier with the battery out, but it's much easier thanpulling a
carb. Just a thought,thecarbs

But itmakes it even more difficult to remove/replace the filters with
attached to the motor; neither filter can be removed or replaced.I'veresorted to
removing one carb from the engine to allowremoval/replacement of thefilters.
