I should check that on mine also. Last summer in July I rode to the middle,
lower part of Wisc. and the Ambo was peeing after the oil got thin, was
never too worried about it. Planned on checking it the beginning of the
season, it might be the rr main, or those bolts that should be sealed, or
the clutch pushrod seals, or even the breather tube. I'll check the easy
stuff but I would rather carry a quart of oil and ride. Where's the wood to
knock on....

Seems pretty normal to me. Are you sure its not coming from the vent tube
off
the breather? While running hard mine seems to blow a little oil mist out
the
vent tube that gets spread around the underside of the gear box. Its not
enough to put any oil on the tire but when I park the bike after a hard ride
a few drops of oil do drip off.
Also make sure the rubber tubing connecting the engine to the breather box
are a tight fit around the metal pipes. Oil leaking were the rubber meets
the
metal pipes will run down the metal tube into the bell housing & drip out
the
bottom appearing to be a rear main leak.
