Hi Ken,
I for one would love a guided tour of the Rally area. My original plans were to head up to the WI Rally then into Canada and down into NY for the National. Since the '71 won't be done in time and my old '69 is pretty tired, I've decided to attend the Guzzis in the Blue Ridge Rally then take the long way home.

The distance would be determined by how much of the "must ride" roads and "must see" scenery could be packed into the time period between an early (dawn?) breakfast and the rally organizer's evening feed and awards. With a stop at a good restaurant for lunch of course! Ride to eat, eat to ride!

The old Ambo and I like just about anything but urban/suburban riding. The fewer cars the better, the more rural the better. I don't even mind a little (well-graded) gravel or dirt road riding.

Really, just about any reasonable distance and any type of roads except interstate would be cool with me! Cheers,

Charlie

Following Charles lead from the Maryland rally, I'm going to offer to lead a
Loop loop at the Guzzi's in the Blue Ridge rally. I have extensive knowledge
of the back roads in the area & can plan a route that will meet the consensus
needs. Anyone planing on going & interested in a ride let me know your
thoughts on distance & type of ride you would like.
