I never have liked that "one turn" stuff so what I do is put the amount I
want to run in the crankcase(normally between 21/2 and 3 qts because I agree
with Ken about the blowout) then run the dipstick all the way down and see
where the oil is on the stick...that's my reference from then on.....

Good question, I believe the V-700 dipstick is a little different but
all the
Ambo's should be the same. If I can remember, I'll measure mine this
weekend
from the gasket surface to the high & low marks.
