I had a hankering to go that way, too---for a while. I
had a pair of adjustable Tommaselli clubman
handlebars, very cool, very cafe. I found though that
the forward crouch was putting all of my weight, plus
the engine weight, far too forward for the front forks
to live with--it overwhelmed the front end--then, when
I put the stock bars back on I realized how much sense
those made. The stock bars moved my butt and all that
weight waaay back onto the rear wheel, making for a
more balance spread of weight. Along with proper (21
front and 25 rear by the book) tire pressures the bike
started feeling like it was on rails---I've never
heard of any rearsets for loopers...always bags and
fairings...

I have a 1972 Eldo. and am interested in installing
rearsets. It has mag
wheels and disc brakes. I would like to turn it
into an old style Cafe'
bike. I've sent this e-mail out a while ago, but I
thought I'd give it
another try. Any info about who makes them would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks
