In addition to a little dab of spline grease on the output spline, I
went at it with a dremel tool to smooth out the wear notches that hung
up the plates and caused it to grab. It shifts smooth as a baby's butt now.

me too. just a trace of auto CV joint grease. makes for a really nice clutch
action.
