JB I have not met you. The comment was for John Sutton whom I met this early
spring at the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just wanted to share my opinion with
him.
Roberto.

John, you do not need Synthetic oils in your Loopframe.
Roberto
PS.
Good meeting you at the Mount Pisgah campground Rally.
Good meeting you as well. Although it's not as clear in my memory...
I ride year round. -20f to 105f or higher depending where I went. When
the roads are salty, I kickstart my SR500. I've done this for many years
so I know oil effectiveness. Synthetics are much easier to live with in
the cold. We can argue all day on long term wear stuff because not a
soul has bitched about a main bearing wearing out because of using a
specific brand of oil. All we can relate to are oils we like. I don't
care about brand, I ride in weather that can hit -20f even on kickstart
bikes. A syn 15w50 will kickstart easier than a 5w30 and that is all I
know on this subject!!!
