A few years back I purchased new header pipes for the Eldo since the
old ones were just pits of steel held together by rust. I bought some
anti-blueing solution from Kreem (I think it was Kreem) and followed
their directions to the letter. My pipes blued anyway but then again
that could be because I didn't have the carbs set up exactly right.
Same thing happened to a set of brand new Kerker 4-1 pipes for my CB750
- they blued as well.
Every once in awhile I apply some Blue Away (or whatever the name is)
to the blue parts to reduce the color. But I've come to accept that the
pipes I own will just remain blueish.
