John,

I need to do that with my Eldo Resto project....take pics as I go along. I
noticed in the "disassembled" (2 of 16) pic the instument nacelle was nice
and shiny. Didn't come that way did it? :-) First thing I did when I came
home with the Eldo was polish the instrument nacelle.
Ian!
I think that's the first thing everybody does. That and the rocker
covers 'cause they come off so easy. The last thing is usually the
Borrani rims. After doing a couple of these bikes you have to learn to
polish aluminum, I've got a buffing wheel, felt bobs, and use several
rouges and potions. I don't think there was one shiny thing on the bike
when I got it.

And what about pic 4 of 16. Is that some kind of "Loop body armour" behind
the pic of those painted tool boxes or did you want to include your garage
ghost in the pic?
Ah, the Queen of the Workbench. Blessed be her wrenches, and guide my
tool to strike deeply and turn true. Amen. In a past life I used to make
plaster casts of people's faces and various body parts. Very interesting
work, if you can get it.

I was just pokin' around my ISP website and realized that I had a bunch
of space that I could use for photos, so I posted some of the progress
pictures of the Ambo restoration I took last year. For those interested,
