O.k., I yanked the engine and tranny out last night. Whew, what a job. I
removed the tranny with the broken 'you know what' in it and looked at
the clutch splines. Shot. No biggie, got plenty of spares.

Now, Bruce, what engine bolt are you talking about??? One of the engine
mounting bolts???

Ian, are you talking about the short little stud that the shock rides on
that is screwed in just under the frame???

Does the flywheel come off at this point!! I don't remember. I know
that the flywheel has to be in the same spot if taken off due to
balancing. I may need a new flywheel. The teeth are kinda wore on the
leading edge where the starter teeth make contact with it..

How do I gauge if the flywheel should be replaced? I don't think the
wear mark is 50% of the tooth on the flywheel.Maybe I'll just change it
out while I have it apart.....Would You???

Thanks..
