the damper
which has the hex nut shape that goes towards the top of the
forks. It's

Am I to understand that this is for a disc-brake front-end? If so,

Paul needs the aluminum piece that screws onto the lower end of
the dampener
cartridge and then bolts to the fork slider at the other end. The

spring goes on over it. #7 on California 850/Eldorado disc brake
plate in my
