Hi Ian
When I had the bike up on blocks under the frame to remove the rear wheel, I
had the swingarm angled forward, meaning the lube from the rear drive could
just leak on up toward the boot. My boot was torn and I noticed the puddle
after a few hours.
The few teaspoons of oil could be from a time you had the rear end up
high.
Good luck
Peter
