Jason,

Use a balloon. Fill it with a little oil...blow it up a bit...insert cable
into balloon...secure....turn upside down. From MGNOC tips book #1.

Ciao...Ian

Subject: oiling brake/clutch cables

So I'm dripping oil down the brake cable on the Eldo- same as I've
always done it. It's messy, it's hard to get the oil to go down into
the hole, yadda, yadda, yadda. I think 'there's got to be a better way'
so I'm soliciting advice. Any advice? My technique is brute force and
ignorance. I don't really recommend it.
I was thinking that maybe I could get some tubing and zip tie one end
onto the end of the cable, and the other onto an oil (like WD40) spray
nozzle, then pressure-feed oil into the housing.

What do ya'll do?
Jason
