Usually the after market floorboards have the left side mount to the
rear tranny mount and there is a bushig in the mount that your stock
shift shaft mounts in.

My Eldo came with Triple A floorboards which I have converted over to
stock pegs. I did notice that that floorboards did not have any support
for the shifter mechanism as does the stock peg setup (the bushing). Is
it normal not to have such a support for these floorboards (or any
aftermarket floorboards, for that matter) or should one be fitted like
Ken is doing for his bike by modifying a stock peg?
