Elvira has cast iron colored cylinders with silver heads. Just cleaned
everything up real well and sprayed with "Cast Iron" high temp engine
enamel. Looks really good. I can email you a picture if you want.

I know many Guzzis have aftermarket cylinders and/or liners do to the original chrome peeling from the cylinder walls. (Proof that bikes are meant to be ridden!) The Nikasil replacements are silver in color. I am looking at a round-head Guzzi with black colored cylinders and silver colored heads. (see pic attached). Are the black cylinders original?
