Elvira has cast iron colored cylinders with silver heads. Just cleaned
everything up real well and sprayed with "Cast Iron" high temp engine
enamel. Looks really good. I can email you a picture if you want.

General question.
I know many Guzzis have aftermarket cylinders and/or liners do to the
original chrome peeling from the cylinder walls. (Proof that bikes are
meant to be ridden!)
The Nikasil replacements are silver in color.
I am looking at a round-head Guzzi with black colored cylinders and
silver colored heads. (see pic attached).
Are the black cylinders original?
If aftermarket, who makes them, what material, and does anyone have any
experience with them?
Thanks.
