Mike , there is a guy in cinncinnati that rode the convert for years andstrong
love them...really believe in the reliability and always told me how
they were. If i think of his name I will pass it on to you. I always sawhim
at the Ohio rally every year.

Is there anyone on the list that would like to write
to me off-list regarding Converts? There is one for
sale not far from me. I don't need another bike, but I
am tempted - the price is $1275. I know what
Guzziology and Moto Guzzi Big Twins say about the
converts, but have never ridden one. I was thinking
that perhaps I could use this as a first bike for my
wife and son: I though the automatic tranny would make
learning simpler for them. I also had in mind using it
to haul my sidecar. I am curious how much they weigh,
how reliable they really are, etc.
