Ya,
I missed another one. Slacker. Getting ready for a Thanksgiving camping
trip to Georgia. That's my excuse.
Been friends with Dennis and Jim , and the rest of the Coonbottom crowd
for about 10 years. And they DO throw a good party. I've met and made
friends with some of the best riders at this event. Next year! I heard
the Guzzi contingency made a solid showing with 15 or so this year. Not
bad for a supposed beemer rally.
Hey, very nice ride, Fred. That's a beauty. Out of curiousity, where did
you take the bayside pic? The Andersonville shot is pure poetry. Nice
work.

Man what a great weekend in Georgia and Florida. The Poverty Riders
sure know how to throw a party!
I rode the Eldo down and it did great, and won "Best Italian" at the
rally. Saw some old friends and met some new ones. The panhandle Guzzi
folks made me welcome, and Jim Digregoria (sp?) cooked some fantastic
food.
The backroads of Georgia are beautiful, with pecans and cotton being
harvested. I stopped by Andersonville on the way down as well. What a
quiet sad place.
I love rolling through those sleepy little towns early on Sunday morning
before anyone's up. Some great old architecture as well.
