Well, in my case you would have lost your house! In
an unlimited
modification class I would have to agree with you
but the class David is referring to,
the bikes have to remain in production form which
means no porting or expansion
chambers for the RD. I raced my Ambo against a few
RDs & they would take me
off the line but the Ambo handles as well & has a
greater top speed. I was never
beaten by an RD. The one time I raced against an H1,
I lapped him in 6 laps.

well, that makes me all the more proud of Moto
Guzzi...I'll be danged...who'd of thunk?...guess I was
thinking of ex chambers and porting putting the top
speed to the RD, which it does, but stock RDs are
definetly more commuter-esqe...does this mean I can
start beating up on two strokes with my
V700?....hahhahhahhahhah.....say Ken, can we donate
and get a sticker?... need something that drives home
the point...I keep a copy of the LSRecord certificate
in the window of my V700 tank bag...really confuses
people, they think this bike did the
record...hehhehhehhehhehheh....wow, we are
competitive! all be danged...again...is there any
classes were the legendary V7 Sport can shine?
