It is the least I can do for many who come to this list. I mostly lurk, as
I don't have much to offer when it comes to mechanical expertise. Since I
have joined the list my knowledge has grown ten fold, and I appreciate the
time and efforts of those who reply to some pretty basic questions about
their Loopframes. When I finally slow down at work in a few years and have
the time to start my restoration on my Eldorado, I am sure I will try the
patience of all of you. Until then, all I can offer is some good dry space
to rest before heading to the Nationals, and on the way back if needed.
I may be heading there myself, but have not gotten my vacation time OK'd as
of yet.....I would love to meet some of you and help out with tent space if
it's needed....

Todd

Todd, that is very nice for you to offer a place for Loopers in the way to
the National next year. Maybe we could all place a message offering open
houses for Loopers at that time in route to the National. It might be an
interesting Idea. I would be glad to do it. I plan to ride my Eldo or pull
it behind the VW Camper if the wife comes with me.

Welcome aboard Paul.....you will really enjoy the newsletter. Frank
Wedge
does a really good job with it as do the contributing columnists.....
Now that you are a member, are you going to the Nationals in the Black
Hills
 this summer?
If so, (and this is an open invitation to all loopframers) I have a farm
outside of Chippewa Falls WI, right off of I 94. If anyone needs a place
to
put up a tent they are welcome. There is no running water and just an
outhouse, but good cover for bikes and gear. Loopers can email me off
list
 for more info.........

All the Best,

Opened the mailbox today to find a big manila envelope with my name on
it. Inside found my December issue of Guzzi news, a MGNOC sticker and
my

Membership card! Must give the wife a big kiss when she gets home as
this was my Christmas present from her. Also found out from my Auto
Insurance guy that you can get a DISCOUNT by belonging to a club. Now
if

that doesn't give the rest of you an incentive to join, then your all
just missing out. Money saved on insurance means money left to spend on
Guzzi's. :)And no, I didn't save a bunch of money by switching to Geico
either. :)
