well the bike shop who listed the engine packed it in a cardboard box and it
got beat to hell in shipping. I called them yesterday and they are going to
file a claim with useless ps, who will say it is not their problem, since it
was not packed properly. the valve cover & oil pan was busted, the tach
drive was smashed along with the fluid filled oil gauge. All the
transmission studs were bent and broken off. I am going to try and see if
the credit card company will stop payment, but I think it is to late. They
stated on ebay as they were experienced in shipping. What a bunch of idiots.
It does have a nice set of duel plug lemans 1 heads, which somehow did not
get damaged

Subject: trendy loopsHey all,
I've tripped over three pieces of information in the last month that
Destinationmay all be familiar with, but here they are anyway;
1) Ambo used as backdrop in some GQ ad
2) Ambo featured in Rider magazine Motorcycle Collector department as
the "Original Breva"
3) MGNOC news reports opening of Aprilia/Moto Guzzi Flagship
store in Manhattan. Reportedly designed for "moto and fashion
enthusiasts on the move"
Like it or not, we may be moving uptown.
