I pretty much agree with Charlie here; I like the different rallies
because of the different flavors. Most of the ones I attend (Midwest)
do have an 'oldest Guzzi' catagory, and I believe it does have to be
ridden in. What's the point, otherwise? At the last IL rally, it was
won by a gentleman on a mid-30's or 40's Alce Militaire. That, my
friends, is cool.
I've never won it, but I ride a modern '74.
