They sound like Honda bars..although my T3 did have the wiring run
inside the bars from the factory.

Not for bar end weights. They're too far inboard, just past where the
grips end. The ovals cut for wiring are perfect so it's not a bung job
from the PO but aftermarket. I don't know why but I thought they were
stock. Guess not.
I have stock CEV switches which screw into the lever mounts so it not
for locating switches. Too far inboard for throttle concerns.
I'm gonna write them off as aftermarket bars, with additional PO drilled
holes and probably won't use them. Damn.
Thanks for the replies.

I would hazard to guess that they are locator holes for the switches
and/or the throttle. A pin from the cluster fits down into the hole so,
for example, the throttle assembly doesn't rotate when you give the bike
gas. Do you have aftermarket switch clusters?

Hi,
The bars off my Eldo (73) have several oval shaped holes on the backside
and one in the middle for wires but also have two very small unthreaded,
countersunk, round holes (one on each side) just a bit inboard of where
the grips will stop. Any ideas? I don't recall pulling anything from
these.
