Sometimes a week ignition will spark when the plugs
are out in the open air but not when they are in the
fuel mixture. Was your spark strong - ie, thick white
or blue spark? If not, check over the ignition
components. You may have a week coil or a fading
condensor (which is cheep and easy to replace). I
would double check the point gap and timing, too.
