Hi Mike,
Do you mean a shim or bushing? The aren't actually any shims, just the
bushing in the footpeg and another (actually more of a seal since it's
flexible - sort of a neoprene type material) that goes into the
transmission. The shift shaft is kept from moving laterally by the
footpeg bushing and the transmission housing. Cheers,
