Greg

I was looking at the picture of the shift linkage with the Heim joints and I
noticed something. What is the threaded piece on the bottom of the battery
support bracket used for?
It looks like it would hold the clutch cable. My clutch cable comes off the
bottom on other side off the transmission.

Hi Gunnar,

Given that Guzzi recommends changing the engine oil every 1800 miles, I
think it would get pretty expensive to use synthetic. And since there
isn't an oil filter, I personally don't want to go longer than 1800
miles, no matter what oil I choose to use. I don't want to start an oil
thread here, but given the frequency of changes, I just use the
inexpensive Wal Mart 20W50. I used to use Castrol 20W50 because it made
me sleep better at night...but I got over that and now just use the
cheap stuff. :>

Now if I could only touch on religion, politics, and tires in this
post...

I know I am far away from completing but I was thinking if there is any
benefit of using Synthetic Oil for the engine?
