Lannis,

You could route the hose back up and put a catch bottle at the end. Just
make sure the catch bottle also has a vent to release the pressure from.
When are you planning on leaving for the National? Have you decided on a
route yet?

I may try the catch bottle. I don't think I've got too much crankcase
pressure, this stuff is probably just normal oil vapor condensation.

I'm flexible on the National. I go up that way all the time (the annual
OVBSAOC rally is about 5 miles from New Cumberland), and the 420 miles
is about 10 hours, what with switchbacks, coal trucks, etc. It's about
the same whether I go VA39 through Goshen to Marlinton and up WV92 and
US219 to 250, or straight on 250 from Charlottesville through Monterey,
or up 340 to 33 and over to Elkins and Junior and hit 250 there.

I have Friday and Monday off, have to work Thursday, so I may leave
Thursday after work and stop the night in Elkins or Fairmont or
Shinnston, and be at the National by 10 or 11 AM on Friday. I've got
good halogen lights and spotlights on the Eldo but I like to sightsee as
I ride and don't feel like dueling with those huge sassy West Virginia
whitetails. OR may leave real early Friday morning from home and ride
all day, get there about 4 PM, though I'd essentially miss most of the
first day that way. What's your plans?
