I had to tell him it shifted just fine. If it wasn't leaking I wouldn't
have considered pulling it. I mean, I don't just pull the motor for no
reason at all. For example *never* during football season (unless it is
a bye week).

I'm thinking along the lines of if it aint broke, don't fix it. So no
grinding or whining means it must be working fine! I heard you pull the
motor just to set the timing. :)
