I remember an earlier thread somewher about a leak in that wasn't the main.
Isn't there a breather tube or something that can also leak in that area?
I don't remember.Or is that a different yr motor
Are you sure it is engine oil? The tranny oil will migrate into the bell housing if
you have the old style seals on the push rod.

Hey guys. About 100 miles ago I replaced my rear main seal and
yesterday I noticed it was leaking again, while just sitting in
the garage. This scares me because I am thinking one of my
cylinders may have flaking chrome which is grinding on the seal.
Is there an easy way to see if chrome is in the oil or should I
just pull the heads?
