Sandblast the hell out of it. $25 at lowe's or home depot will buy you a
primitive sandblasting rig. Buy an air powered sandblasting wand w/ hose, a
50 lb bag of play sand (drier is better!), and a 5- gallon bucket and you
are set! Of course you have to have an air compressor (bigger=better). Use
appropriate eye protection and a respirator as silica sand dust is
carcinogenic (if ya inhale it alot...and I mean a lot!). Enjoy!

Anyone have any tricks for unplating (removing chrome) parts at
