Okay so I got this goofy assed fairing. It's like those cop barndoors but
without the class. Nearest I can make out is it's made by Perry. Whoever
that is. Anyhow, I'm fiddlin with the brackets trying to figure out how it
fits.
I did figure that part out. There are two sparate brackets that mount to the
forks. the bottom of it uses the lower triple tree bolt and the top seems to
go over the top triple tree and the fork tube plug slips inside the ring on
the top of the bracket for the tp mounting point. It all works and the
fairing fits perfectly.
Now with that bracket in place, how in the hell does the dash fit? I have
both an early single guage dash and a dual guage dash. neither fits back on
without cutting. Or is there supposed to be some sort of bushing, weather
stripping or some such to take care of the gap when the dash is mounted on
top of the bracket?
*shrug*
I'll probably just cut it up and make some new brackets.
