I never use it, I do go through a process that is a pain but must be done,
torque, set valves, run and tune
let cool
start and run
let cool
torque, set valves, run 50 miles
let cool
torque, set valves
run 200 miles
let cool
torque, set valves
run 500 miles
torque, set valves
run 50K miles

or close to that.

I guess I'm pretty much from the don't-put-sealers-on-head-gaskets
school of thought. But in Guzziology, Dave R. sez that they use
Permatex 300 gasket sealer (doesn't harden) when they install head
gaskets. When I got my heads back from the machine shop, the heads did
not need to be flattened (but the valve guides were out by about .008" ).

Don't much relish the thought of having the head gaskets leak if I
don't use sealer, but if I don't need the stuff, I'd rather not use it.
What has been the experience on this list of using sealers on Eldo head
gaskets?
