Hi All,
Well...up here in the north country things are just starting to happen....
weather wise. Finally after a long winter the temps got warm enough today to
get me out into the garage and to fire up my 70 Ambo.
I needed to retorque the heads first. It has been about 400 miles since I
turned over the new engine. Although the valve clearances hadn't moved since
the first engine runs I figured it would be good practice to retorque.
With the rocker covers back on and the battery hooked up it was time. I
don't think the bike rotated more than twice before she fired up....same as
just before I put her away last fall. Man I love these bikes!
So......a little warmer weather and I will be ready for the first real ride
of the year. Something about these bikes that make the heart pound.
I hope everyone's bikes fired up after winter like mine did :-)
