Pete,

What I meant by the comment was that I should have paid less money for the
Chen Shins..... a tire that I hear nothing but good comments about. I
personally like the company Michelin and I really like the Macadams....the
bike seems to handle really well...but I paid much more for them than had I
bought a set of equally as good Chen Shins.

Regards....Ian

 Ian

Am interested in your comment about Chen Shins. Can you elaborate?
Mine had Pirellis on orig. ( old and dry rotted) now have the chicken skins
on, didn't have a wobble or anything on either although the Pirellis had
the scalloped or dished wear pattern on the front.

 Scott,

Interesting that you mentioned that. I recently had a set of Michelin
Macadams ( I know I should have gotten the Chin Shens) mounted on my 69.
Same with these tires. The bike does the woopty doo at 35-40 mph.
Fortunately I feel nothing at 60mph and I don't feel there is any loss in
handling after 700 miles (just came back from the WNYR). As I was riding
along I was wondering if the rim might be out or round. I'll check it
out.
