Dave,
I have never seen inserts that fit into the heads like that. I have only
seen the short plastic inserts that fit into the carb body. Could that be
why my bike has difficulty at times? Are these inserts easy to come by?

I am new to the loopframe list but not to loopframe Guzzis. My daily rider
is
a 72Eldo.I have had since new,a keeper needless to say.A few years back
picked up a v-700 that came with an extra engine. When I took the heads
off(these are the small valve ones)noticed the intake ports are much
larger
than the Eldo.Amb.heads, does anyone know why?I know the difference in
these
heads but a large intake port with small valves and the same 29mm carbs
doesn't make sense? Thanks,Dave >
