I would say sand it with a coarse grit paper, Prime it, sand it, primer it
again, sand it, well you get the idea. Then spray the paint.

Anouther suggestion:
Bead blast maybe ?

Does anybody know the groups consensus on how to paint chrome? I wasn't
readint the posts becouse I didn't need the info, now I do.

I want to paint a non guzzi chrome fender black..
