Hi All,
Just joined the list recently; however, I am a long time Guzzi owner.
My restored Ambassador has sat the last couple of years, and I am trying
to get it ready to ride this summer. The carbs were totally varnished
up inside, so I decided to strip them and put them in a carb cleaner
dip. Everything is apart, except I can't get the hard plastic sleeve
that gets squeezed in between the carb body and the intake manifold out
of the carb body. The parts dip says no plastic so I would like to have
it out to get the whole body dunked to get the passages cleaned out.
Thanks for any help anyone can provide, as I don't think that I have
done this for ten years and have forgotten all my tricks.
Also, my search function does not seem to work for this list. Has
anybody else had this problem?
