Hi Frank,
If you have to piggyback a message just put your cursor on the
subject line and change it.
I have heard it said that the "VP" stands for Versione Policia but I
have also heard that a lot of police bikes had come through with out the
"VP" and some with the "VP" on the engine and not on the builders plate or
vice versa. Mine has the "VP" on both the engine and the plate. The stars
are there to keep someone from adding a number or two with a number punch
and changing the VIN to suit their inappropriate needs. Did you get the one
that was on e-Bay? I thought about that one for parts but I wasn't
convincing enough. Besides what I really need is a G5 or maybe a convert, I
want to modernize my Eldo a little and part out the rest.
