david just for shits and grins, the Moto Guzzi rally in Italy texas is coming up. it is the 6th of oct in where else but Italy texas. one day only. they come in from all over the damn country just for this one day. been going on for years. well worth the time to make this meet with or without a bike. its isn't that far south of dallas. also the MG dealer in midlothian is having a cook out sat the 5th. this is without the best dealership in texas and he sells his bikes cheaper than any dealer in the USA. [ and that be the truth] its south of Mid. aabout 4 miles kinda out in the sticks but worth the trip and beside the food is free. hope your back to work now. and things are back on track. might loan you the jackal if you want to go to either of these get-togethers[ as long as you have a MC lic.] later [[kelly]] going next week to mo for the MO-KAN MG rally north of KC and then to chicago for some business and then back home.

I once new a "good ole boy" from Tennessee who would get out on the highway and set his cruise control for 54 miles an hour (this was 13-14 years ago). It would be scary to ride with him cause it seemed that people were trying to knock him out of the way.
He would very casually look at you, stating "If they'd a left their house 5 minutes earlier, Thay wouldn't have to be a drivin like thayat."

(of course he was paid by the hour and the mile, so why hurry)
