I have always used 3M Weatherstrip adhesive. It is made expressly for
gluing rubber to painted and /or bare metal. A thin coat is applied to
both pieces where they are to be joined and allowed to dry for 5 minutes
or so. The parts are then brought together and stay together. The glue
is avbailable in black or yellow ,make sure to ask for the black, unless
for some reason you want the glue to show !

"boot" attaches to the airbox and to the carb venturis?

I'm getting sick of all the intake roar from my open K&N filters, so I'm

thinking of switching back to the stock airbox.
