John,

I also looked into this awhile back and came up empty. There are plenty
of rests out there if you want the luggage rack setup, have seen a ton
of those on ebay, but I didn't want that look on my Ambo. Cam's setup
is neat but you lose the grab handles. I bought an 850T back rest but
have yet to figure out how to mod it to fit. The long sweeping arms on
either side can be bent to fit the 2 side tabs on the frame above the
rear fender, but I still have 2 short arms in the center to figure out
what to do with. These arms are needed to keep the backrest from
slipping down on top of the rear fender/tail light as weight is pushed
back on the rest. Hasn't been a priority for me since my wife hasn't
gotten on the loop yet and not sure when she will. If you find
something, let us know.

But my wife insists I find a backrest for the Ambo. Anyone have one
collecting dust in the attic? I'd like to customize one to pop on and

off and make it look somewhat unconspicuous. I promise never to
ride solo with it.

Email me photos of any likely candidates you'd want to sacrifice.

My opinion only, I do have one on a Bassa.
