I used Honda #60 (I think) grease on the wheel-to-drive splines. Even used
lightly, it found it's way off and made enough mess on the wheel to make me
think the drive was leaking. Guzziology seems to recommend "Bel-Ray Assembly
Lube" from what I can tell from preliminary ready.
When I saw the subject line, it never occurred to me you meant PAINT
strippers! Thought there was some tie in with the grease. Such as, you met
up with some college girls that pay their way by stripping and they helped
do some wrenching and got greasy. Damn! Oh, well. Anyway, I use NAPA's store
brand automotive stripper mostly since they're close. But it does work
excellent, is especially stinky and leaves residue you're not exactly sure
how to dispose of. "Do I label this as hazardous waste and leave it at a
