"Peace of mind knowing that you won't be stuck by the
side of the road with dead electronic ignition =
priceless! :-)"

Allen, I have had condensors go and leave me on the
side of the road, but have never had an electronic
ignition fail. My vehicles with electronic ignition
have been much more reliable then the ones with points
(except my Ambo, which I baby and addjust all the time
just for fun - I love my bike!).

"So, you should never have to gap or time the right
side cylinder."

Pat, the gap adjusts timeing for the second cylinder -
if the gap is in range according to the manual the
timing can still be off a little because there is a
"range" to what gap is supposed to be acceptable. If
the gap is perfect, then that will not be the case,
but getting it perfect is why you need to time both
cylinders. This is not controversial - even Frank W.
endorses this method.

-Mike (69 Ambo)
