Subject: Bike Shows & Chilly riding weather

Well for anyone interested there is the Mid Atlantic Bike Show at the
Richmond, Va Convention Center next weekend January 24th & 25th, then
January 30th - Feb 1st is the 21st Annual Baltimore International
Motorcycle Show at the Baltimore Convention Center. Took Daisy for a
brisk ride in the nice 36 degree weather yesterday. Got some really
strange looks and lot's of thumbs up from folks while I was out. Stopped
at a local bike shop to get the inspection done and I was the ONLY one
riding there! A bunch of guys came in wearing their club colors, but
they all got out of a TRUCK! So what is the purpose of displaying your
club colors if your not RIDING your BIKE? I guess it's just too easy to
jump in the car nowdays and fire up the heater. Lucky for us Guzzi
riders, we have a built in heater right in front of our legs. Makes for
a nice toasty ride. :) Now if I can just find some nice covers to go
over the levers for winter riding I'll be happy.
