How did you mount your battery after the tray mod? Does the
speedo cable coming up through the tray require the battery to be
rotated 90 deg, i.e., fore & aft vice across the frame as standard? If
so, was there enough space to use the standard sized battery, or did you
relocate the voltage regulator ( I assume you're not using the stock air
filter), or did you use a special sized battery? On my set-up I measure
aprox. 8 inches between the K&Ns and the voltage regulator (Bosch), but
that was a quickie done without the toolboxes or rear fender mounted.
Hmmm, maybe the battery fits under the voltage regulator.
