they can normally be found used for $40-$75...no I don't have any right

Mike -

Those "offset" crashbars with the rubber footrests look like a good
idea, all right. But the same "cheap" gene that assisted in my choice
of Moto Guzzi is making my hand shake when I think about taking off my
perfectly good shiny crashbars and paying another $140 for a new
set.....if there's ANY chance of solving the problem by buying a set of
conforming footpeg or footboard mounts for the back...
