Hi All,
I know that most of the answers to my following question will be to get new
cylinders but I am exploring other options. Here they are.
I am rebuilding my Police Eldo and I have a set of cylinders that came with
the bike. I had them mic'd and they were about 2 thousands worn. The pistons
were shot. I was thinking that I might explore the option of having the
cylinders resleeved and install new pistons and rings. Anyone ever done this
before? What about the difference in cost? Part of me says to just take out
a loan and get a new set but the other sees re-using the cylinders as
something that is good.
As always I am seeking the advice of th wise, experienced and knowledgeable.
