What Greg said, for engine case. That stuff turns some tranny cases and
timing case covers gray. If so on yours, instead of the Eagle 1, use a
powder called Barkeeper's friend (like Comet).

 try the eagle one type 2 wheel cleaner i believe - but make sure you
neutralize with baking soda/water mixture afterwards or it'll pit bad.
works really good, just gotta rinse it 50 times.

So, what little secret formulas do each of you use to clean the
cases? There has been a NAPA product mentioned, and TarnX....Anyone
care to weigh in? My cases are not that pretty and I never ever paint
engines black.
